On Tuesday, 28th October 2025, ADM Milling UK welcomed representatives from across the UK milling and baking industry to our Corby site for a special showcase event. The day was designed to highlight ADM’s passion for the sector, our technical capabilities, and the ways in which we support our customers.
We were delighted to host:
The event began with a warm welcome and introduction to ADM Milling UK, including a brief history of the Corby site and an overview of our newly expanded B mill, presented by Site Manager Mark Betteridge.
Guests then joined Anna Perz, Product Development and Applications Manager, and Gareth Edwards, Head of Sales – Craft & Speciality, for a technical session exploring ADM’s capabilities in product development, applications, and innovation. Anna shared how our laboratory, test bakery, and training programmes help customers stay ahead of trends and respond to evolving legislation, such as HFSS. She also highlighted how our innovation concepts are continually refreshed to meet changing consumer needs.
After lunch, attendees were taken on a guided tour of the mill by Senior Production Manager Scott Reid. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with guests praising Scott’s clarity and expertise. One attendee commented, “Scott was superb and clearly knew his stuff,” noting how the tour deepened their understanding of the milling process and left a lasting impression.
A highlight of the day was the opportunity to see one of ADM’s new electric heavy goods vehicles (eHGVs) up close. These 100% electric trucks are part of our expanding fleet, delivering regeneratively sourced flour directly from Corby to customers across the UK. Supported by a newly installed high-speed charger at the site, this initiative reflects ADM’s commitment to sustainable logistics and supply chain excellence.
In addition to technical insights, the event also sparked valuable conversations around industry collaboration — particularly in education and career pathways. Guests and hosts alike shared ideas on how we can work together to raise awareness of the milling and baking sector and inspire future generations to explore careers in this vital industry.
Anna Perz, Product Development and Applications Manager, ADM Milling:

A big thank you to the team for such an informative and insightful day.”
We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to all our guests for joining us and contributing to such a successful and insightful day. We look forward to continuing these conversations and building stronger connections across the industry.
