ADM UK recognises the importance of its role in managing social, economic and environmental issues, through ADM Corporate’s ADM Cares programme. The overall approach we take to contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of the workforce and their families, the local community and society is to ensure that we are taking an active part in supporting the local community and social causes. We are working to sustain and strengthen this commitment by directing up to one per cent of ADM’s pre-tax profits to initiatives and organisations that drive meaningful social, economic and environmental progress.
We strives to make a positive difference in the communities where we work and live, with a strong commitment to education and funding educational initiatives that provide work-based learning experiences as well as improving the quality of life today, as we help to create a better future tomorrow.

DE&I at ADM UK
In recent years, ADM as a whole has placed emphasis on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Within ADM Milling, a two-way mentoring scheme has been introduced, alongside Assertiveness for Women training, partnership with Stonewall and a range of other initiatives to enhance diversity, especially at senior manager level.
As part of our 2021 grants, ADM UK supported Stemettes, who are a social enterprise working to inspire and support young women and non-binary people in science, technology, engineering and maths careers.
In 2022, ADM UK are participating in their STEMillions programme, which offers schools a range of STEM activities related to real women in STEM and their careers.
