A Supply Chain Collaboration

supply chain collaboration

ADM’s UK Milling business, biscuit manufacturer Pladis, and multinational retailer Marks & Spencer will be inextricably linked this year. To ensure that this successful partnership continues in 2019 and beyond, representatives from all three companies met late last year at ADM’s mill in Edinburgh to discuss the food-safety risks inherent in each step of their collaborative supply chain — from the production and transportation of ADM’s wholemeal flour to the manufacture of Pladis products for storage on Marks & Spencer’s shelves. “Our team did an excellent job in presenting our milling and distribution assets, and the processes we have jointly put in place to collaboratively reduce food-safety risks,” said Stuart Pullan, regional operations director, ADM Milling UK
