In the UK, the influence of Indian cuisine is reflected in the availability of naan bread at retail. However, other Indian breads (chapati, paratha) are not as well represented, nor are breads from other cuisines. Tortillas and arepas (maize dough from Latin American), injera (Ethiopian made sour fermented flatbread), and lavash (Middle Eastern thin unleavened flatbread) present a host of other opportunities.
